Sea grub hunter tank (Digital Download)

The sea grub hunter is one of the most feared attack tanks in the grim galaxy. While the sea grub destroyers lob caustic sea ordinance from miles away, and the sea grub carriers transport dredge marines to the front, the mere sight of a sea grub hunter sliding over the crest into view with its squeeling screw tracks will cause enemies to flee. They are equipped with huge energy-based cannons spouting from their primary turret, and heavy assaulters or heavy lasers on the sponsons to destroy any target. Sea grub hunters are often seen sliding across the battlefield in attack groups, known as grub packs. Every dredge marine force should take these devastating war machines to battle.

This multipart set allows you to make a sea grub hunter tank. The set includes:

• 1 hull port side
• 1 hull starboard side
• 1 top carapace
• 1 turret
• 2 turret cannon types
• Hatch option 1 (plus customization parts, comprising 1 closed lid, 1 valve, 1 dredge marine gunner body, 1 helmet, 1 storm gun and 1 tide spitter)
• Hatch option 2
• 2 side sponsons
• 4 sponson guns (comprised of 2 heavy assaulters and 2 heavy lasers)
• 1 ram bar
• 2 main screws (comprising 1 PORT and 1 STAR side. Print x3 each of these)
• 2 screw tips (comprising 1 PORT and 1 STAR side)
   

IMPORTANT ASSEMBLY NOTES: there are 3 starboard side screws (labelled STAR), plus 3 port side screws (labelled PORT). You must use the starboard screws on the right side of the tank, and the port side screws on the left side of the tank. Print 3 of each screw.

When using the dredge marine gunner, you need to snip the hand grips off the gun. These are grooved, for easy removal. You can just bend them off! If you wish to assemble your tank with a closed hatch and no gunner, but still feature a hatch gun, leave the grips on the weapon and mount the gun in a tilted position (it can be tilted to the desired position). You may also use the peering eye hatch if no hatch gun or gunner is desired.

The sea grub hunter has some compatible parts with the sea grub carrier, allowing for extra customization if you own both kits. Swappable parts include the hulls, the sponsons/side hatches, the top hatches and hatch accessories, screw tracks and ram bar. Note that while both top carapace can be swapped, the hunter carapace has a large hole that will only fit its turret. The large dozer blade from the sea grub destroyer tank is also swappable.

Some of the smaller parts have been combined into a sprue for easy handling.

Folder includes both supported and unsupported parts, as well as the LYS file, in case you need to adjust your supports.
