The dredge is an ancient and forgotten faction stationed on a mostly underwater oceanic planet called Krathus IV, set in the distant future of the Mezgike universe. There have been epic underwater battles and dredge marines literally walked and fought on the sea bed. Humans worked the rigs and factories, but drilled too far, awakening some kind of demon in the deep, known as the sunken one. Everyone fell to this demon's curse. Now, thousands of years later, those ancient marines and workers are horribly mutated and affected by millennia under a chaotic sea. It's time for them to crawl from the rotten seas and spread to other worlds.
